FAQ

What is the commission process like?
The commission process initiates with a request for written and/or visual references for the commissioned piece. Subsequently, a sketch is developed based on the provided information.
Upon approval of the sketch, the drawing will be completed.
How can I commission you?
You can commission me directly through email ([email protected]), or on social media. You can also locate me on VGen or Artistree for commission inquiries.
What is included in the VTuber model art commission?
Included in the VTuber model art commission are a 300 DPI JPEG of the model art,
a rig-ready PSD file, a PDF invoice, and a PDF copy of the TOS.

Do you offer revisions?
Revisions are offered during the sketch phase. Additionally, small edit requests post-final artwork, such as minor details and color correction, are acceptable.
How do I pay for a commission?
Currently, only PayPal is accepted as the payment method.
What rights do I have to the commissioned artwork?
In general, you retain the rights to the Intellectual Property (IP). However, the commissioned artwork cannot be used for commercial purposes unless otherwise agreed upon.

Can I request additional modifications after the artwork is completed?
Small edit requests post-final artwork, such as minor details and color correction, are acceptable. Larger edits not addressed during the sketch stage may incur additional fees.
It's advisable to request edits early on.
How will I receive the final artwork?
All necessary files will be downloadable through the cloud for a limited time. Upon completion of the work, you will receive a private link.
What if I am not satisfied with the final result?
To avoid dissatisfaction, several revisions are offered. Refunds are not available if the artwork is 100% completed. However, partial refunds may apply depending on progress and time spent. More details under TOS.

PAYMENT

- Payments are preferred up-front.- Partial payment plans are available with a 50% down payment.- Payment is done through Paypal.- Tips are welcome but by no means a requirement.

REFUNDS

- You are free to request a cancellation at any time; however, partial refunds apply depending on progress/time spent.- Partial refunds are available for work I have completed (e.g., Sketch 80% refund; Line Art 60% refund; Flat Colors 30% refund).- Refunds are not available if I have 100% completed the artwork.If I am unable to start your commission, you will receive a full refund.- If you cancel your order before I start the drawing, you can get a full refund.

DEADLINE

- I will provide you with a rough time estimate at the beginning of the ordering process.- If I do have to re-schedule due to a certain reason (e.g., more complicated drawing than
anticipated, health, other responsibilities, etc.), I will let you know beforehand.
- If you require a deadline, please understand if I may not have available dates until a few weeks later. I am a full-time student and work part-time; commissions cannot be my first priority
at the moment.
- Additional price for very strict priority deadlines (depending on time window).

PROCESS & REVISION

- Please provide me with references to your artwork. If descriptions and references are not clear enough, I will interpret things as I see fit. So please try to be as specific as possible.- Please send an actual character reference and not several images to construct a character (e.g., "This is how their hair looks," "I want them to wear this," "This is how I imagine their eyes"). This point is to be disregarded for Character Design commissions.- Rough composition sketches to choose from will be provided before continuing with a detailed sketch. This stage will be used to get any large changes done, if necessary.- After the detailed sketch has been approved, WIPs of the Line Art and Flat Colors will be sent.- Small edit requests post-final artwork are fine, such as minor details, color correction, etc.- Larger edits, such as different hand positions, head angles, etc., which were not addressed within the sketch stage, may incur additional fees. Please make sure to request edits early on.

TOS

ARTNPC (THE ARTIST):
- I reserve the right to cancel and refund the order at any time for any reason.
- I retain all copyrights over the commissioned artwork.- I will NOT claim the Intellectual Property (IP) of the commissioned artwork.- I reserve the right to post the commissioned artwork online, as well as in my portfolio.

YOU (THE COMMISSIONER):
- You may upload the commissioned artwork on any website and social channels.
- You may NOT alter the commissioned artwork without my (the artist's) consent.- You may NOT make a profit from the commissioned piece (reselling, redistributing, uploading to POD services, make prints, etc.), unless it was agreed on.- You may NOT use the commissioned artwork for commercial purposes, unless it was agreed on.- You retain the rights to the Intellectual Property (IP).- You have to credit me, ArtNPC, properly when publishing the work in any form.- You are NOT allowed to use the commission in any blockchain-related technology, including NFTs and cryptocurrency.- You are NOT allowed to use any artwork in any AI-related technology, including AI Art Generators.
